Kwick Sew 3422 A

This will introduce you to how to read a commercial pattern. How to trace the size you want (which allows you to keep your pattern intact and used again for other sizes). Cutting out of fabric and garment construction. Setting of sleeves, buttons and button holes, a yoke and a collar.

Once you have made one shirt you will be tempted to make more! My David now has 10 of them - addictive I know......

What to bring: Kwick Sew pattern 3422 in your size range 

Fabric: Lightweight woven fabrics. Cotton, cotton blends*, oxford cloth, broadcloth or chambray. Avoid slippery fabrics. 

The back of the pattern envelope will tell you how much fabric you need. If you are not sure please do not hesitate to contact me for assistance. I can also suggest various online fabric suppliers who I have used in the past.

Extra fabric may be needed to match design or for shrinkage. I always recommend pre-washing the fabric.

Thread to match the fabric. 11 buttons of your choice.

Body measurement required: Waist, hips, nape to back and neck. For help with measurements click here
