Dress A Girl Around the world are not accepting dresses at the moment as they are unable to distribute the items made. Once we return to world wide travel we will get going as I am sure there will be a huge unmet demand.

We will spend the day making dresses and shorts for this worthwhile charity. I have made almost 400 dresses for them over the years and have had them turn up all over the world, Kenya, Gambia and Peru to mention a few (see that almost rhymed!).
I have the patterns and the fabric and can show you how to sew it all together. This project is perfect for beginners as well as accomplished seamstresses. If you are still not convinced that you cansew but want to help please still come and help with cutting out, ironing and threading of ribbons. The more the merrier!
I have received lots of lovely fabric for us to use. If you have any cotton / herringbone tape that we can use for neck ties, waist ties that would be most useful. Unfortunately we can't use ribbon it's not sturdy enough. More guidelines can be found here
A suggested donation of £ 5 towards postage, refreshments etc.
