Returning to the 'new' normal

Classes are back up and running. I have made the decision to have 2/3 per class as this allows me to spend time helping when needed (and less time sitting around waiting). It also means the cutting table, projector and iron don't get over run. There have been some lovely makes recently and lots of laughs. Why not come and join us?

THANK YOU!

Thank you to all who came and helped me celebrate. The sun shone, the chat chittered and I was too busy having fun to take pictures. Thank you Rachel for taking at least one!xx Anna

Sew Many Things turns 3!

3 years ago on June the 15th I followed my heart and opened up my little sewing studio and I am happy to say I am still living my dream! I love coming to work and meeting so many wonderful and inspiring people. Thank you all for brightening my days x

I’d like to celebrate the occasion by inviting all - current, past and future - sewisists to pop by for a chat, a glass of prosecco/tea/coffee and of course Swedish cinnamon buns! Weather permitting, we will be outside. It has been suggested all should try and wear something you have made, either with me or ‘solo’. If nothing else come with a bag, a bucket hat or a needle case (you know who you are!)

Date: 15th June 2022

Time: 1-4pm

Location: Sew Many Things Dorset, Furzebrook Studios.

I very much look forward to catching up with everyone. I’d love to hear about your sewing journey; where has it taken you? What are you making? What do you want to make?

Anna xx

Projector Sewing

I now have a projector set up and running at the studio. Head over to the Projector page for more information on this new technology.

Happy New Year!

There are lots of new classes starting in January;  beginners and intermediates. Facebook is the best place to go for the most recent updates.

Classes are still small and the latest health advice followed with the use of masks if recommended. I am still cleaning in between classes. If you want a hot drink please bring a mug, I will have hot water, tea, coffee & milk.

I look forward to seeing you.

Anna

Covid Update

Classes have restarted! A maximum of 4 including me at a time. Facemasks are required if not double vaccinated.

There is plenty of hand gel and the work spaces are disinfected between sessions. Sewing machines and scissors will be cleaned beforehand and allocated for your personal use during the lesson. As I am unable to do so with pins please bring your own.
If you or I feel unwell lessons will be suspended until further notice.

If you are interested in sewing contact me directly and we can arrange a suitable class and time.

If there are any further precautions you would like to implement please let me know and I will do whatever I can to make you and I safe.

Happy New Year!

I hope everyone had a peaceful break and are ready for new sewing adventures in 2020.

I am sure many of you are aware of the devastating fires in Australia. UK hubs are being set up for the collection of items made to assist in the rehabilitation of the wildlife who are suffering as a consequence. I will be adding some charitable sewing dates to the diary for those who wish to come and sew and/or knit/crochet with other like minded people. Keep an eye on Facebook, Sew Many Things Dorset diary and the Charity Event page for updates.

So this happened!
