Kimono 2 weeks

Simplicity 8707 - A
Make something cool and floaty. Make a simple wrap kimono to make you feel a million dollars.

This will introduce you to how to read a commercial pattern. How to trace the size you want (which allows you to keep your pattern intact and can therefore be used again for other sizes). Cutting out of fabric and garment construction. Adding pockets.

Once you have made one you will have a pattern that fits! Next shop for fabric and make lots more!
